Quorn Hall

Quorn Hall is a historic grade II listed country house located in the picturesque village of Quorn, Leicestershire. Originally built around 1680 and set on 12 acres of land along the River Soar, the hall has a rich history, having been known as 'Nether Hall' before being renamed by Hugo Meynell in the 18th century. It became famous for the Quorn Hunt, which was associated with the estate. Over the years, the hall has changed hands multiple times and served various purposes, including a country club and a naval training facility during World War II. Since 1983, it has functioned as an outdoor education centre, although its future was uncertain in 2012. Quorn Hall offers a glimpse into the region's heritage and is a point of interest for tourists and researchers alike.
