The Arizona Biltmore opened in 1929 as a luxury resort and is noted for its geometric ornamentation inspired by 'textile block' motifs. The design is officially credited to architect Albert Chase McArthur, although the extent of Frank Lloyd Wright's influence and involvement has been a subject of historical debate.
