Q2 Stadium opened in 2021 as the home stadium for Major League Soccer expansion club Austin FC. The stadium hosted Austin FC's first MLS home matches during the club's inaugural MLS season and is the primary venue for the city's top-tier professional soccer matches. Q2 Stadium was built in northwest Austin as a soccer-specific stadium with modern fan amenities.
