Jonesville Academy

The Jonesville Academy, located in Richmond, Vermont, is a historic school building constructed around 1868, showcasing Italianate architectural style. Once serving as the local high school and later a grade school until its closure in 1955, this two-story wood frame structure features a distinctive square tower and decorative brackets. Now a private residence, it retains many original interior elements, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
