U.S. National Whitewater Center competitive events

The U.S. National Whitewater Center in Charlotte hosts regional and national competitive events in whitewater paddling, mountain biking, trail running, and related outdoor sports. The venue is used for USA Canoe/Kayak sanctioned races and other organized competitions that draw club, collegiate and elite athletes. Its artificial whitewater river, extensive trail network, and competition infrastructure make it a recurring site for multi-discipline outdoor sport events.
