Gondola rides and Grand Canal Shoppes installations (The Venetian)

The Venetian Resort operates indoor and outdoor gondola rides that run through fabricated canal passages and a recreated Venetian piazza within the Grand Canal Shoppes. In operation since the resort opened in 1999, the attraction features singing gondoliers and staffed gondolas that provide a ticketed ride experience integrated with the shopping complex. The installation includes painted architecture, bridges and water features designed to evoke Venice and is maintained as a permanent visitor attraction of the resort.
