Dallas Zoo

The Dallas Zoo was established in 1888 and is the oldest zoological park in Texas. It has operated continuously since the 19th century and functions as a long-standing municipal recreational and educational infrastructure in Dallas. The zoo occupies a large campus in southern Dallas and is one of the city's oldest surviving public institutions.
