Friendship Valley Farm

Friendship Valley Farm is a historic home and farm complex located in Westminster, Carroll County, Maryland, established in the late 18th century. The main house, originally built as a T-shaped brick structure on a stone foundation, was later expanded to its current H shape. The property features a small log cabin that once served as a slave cabin and later as a smoke house, along with a large brick wash-house and summer kitchen built in 1860, complete with a bell tower. This site was recognized for its historical significance and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, making it an intriguing destination for tourists and researchers interested in American history.
