Pickhurst is a stunning grade II* listed mansion located in the picturesque countryside near Chiddingfold, Surrey. Set within 130 acres of beautiful land, this architectural gem was designed by Scottish architect J.M. Brydon in 1885, showcasing influences from the renowned style of Norman Shaw. Although it faced significant damage from a fire in the 1950s, leading to the demolition of parts of the structure, a comprehensive six-year renovation by Ian Adam-Smith restored its grandeur. This historic site offers a glimpse into Victorian architecture and the resilience of heritage preservation.
