Yusupov Palace (Crimea)

The Yusupov Palace, located in Koreiz near Yalta, Crimea, is an architectural gem built in 1909 for Prince Felix Yusupov and Princess Zinaida Yusupova. Designed by Nikolay Krasnov, it features a blend of Renaissance Revival and Roman Revival styles, surrounded by a romantic park filled with exotic plants. The palace also houses a historic wine cellar established in the 19th century. After the Russian Revolution, it became a favored retreat for Joseph Stalin during significant events like the Yalta Conference. Following Crimea's annexation by Russia in 2014, it now serves as a special complex for the Russian President's administration, making it a site of historical and political significance.
