Roberts Inn

Roberts Inn is a historic home and farm located in Cooksville, Howard County, Maryland. This 2+1⁄2-story stuccoed stone house, featuring a reconstructed log wing from around 1808, served as a turnpike tavern during the early days of the National Pike's extension. The property includes several 19th- to early-20th-century agricultural outbuildings, such as a bank barn and a dairy. Notably, it is said that Marquis de Lafayette dined here during his 1824 tour of America. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006, Roberts Inn offers a glimpse into Maryland's rich history and is easily accessible from Route 144.
