Latta Arcade

The Latta Arcade, located at 320 S. Tryon St. in Charlotte, North Carolina, is a historic indoor shopping arcade built in 1914. Featuring a stunning two-floor atrium topped with a glass skylight, it originally served to provide natural light for cotton grading. Designed by architect William H. Peeps, the arcade houses various stores and restaurants, making it a charming destination for both tourists and researchers interested in architectural history. It was recognized for its historical significance by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
