Ganabhaban

Ganabhaban, meaning 'People's House', is the former official residence of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, located in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka. Originally built for Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the 1970s, it has a rich history, including periods of abandonment and renovation. Following the July Revolution in 2024, it is being transformed into the July Revolution Memorial Museum, preserving its historical significance. The site is notable for hosting various political events and gatherings, including Eid celebrations. It is situated near the National Parliament House, making it a key landmark in Dhaka's political landscape.
