Kagerise Store and House

The Kagerise Store and House, also known as Harting's Store, is a historic commercial building and residence located in Adamstown, Pennsylvania. Built in 1827 with additions made until 1870, this 2+1⁄2-story sandstone structure features a U-shape and showcases Federal and Eastlake architectural styles. Notable for its elaborate bracketed porch added around 1890, the site also includes a contributing barn from circa 1840. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988, it offers a glimpse into the region's rich history and architectural evolution.
