Kreeger Museum - Philip Johnson–designed Modernist Building

The Kreeger Museum building was designed by architect Philip Johnson and completed in 1963 as the Kreegers' residence and gallery; it later opened to the public as a museum. The museum houses the modern and contemporary art collection of David and Carmen Kreeger, including works by Picasso, Rothko, and de Kooning, and offers public exhibitions and educational programs.
