Texas State Capitol restricted areas

The Texas State Capitol is the seat of state government in Austin and contains legislative chambers and lawmakers' offices that are not open to the general public without credentials. Certain floors, offices, and secure areas are restricted to legislators, staff, invited guests, and authorized personnel during legislative sessions and other official business. Security screening is conducted at some public entrances and law enforcement enforces restricted access to non-public areas.
