Pinfold Manor

Pinfold Manor is a historic seven-bedroom Edwardian villa located in Walton-on-the-Hill, Surrey, England. Built between 1912 and 1913 for David Lloyd George, then Chancellor of the Exchequer, the villa was designed by architect Percy Morley Horder based on sketches by Edwin Lutyens. The manor is notable for its striking silver-grey brick construction with red brick dressings and a distinctive red clay tile roof. It gained notoriety when it was bombed by suffragettes in 1913, an act intended to draw attention to women's rights. After repairs, Lloyd George occupied the house until around 1919. Today, Pinfold Manor is a Grade II listed building, recognized for its architectural significance and historical importance, making it an intriguing site for tourists and researchers alike.
