Charles L. Sewall Center

The Charles L. Sewall Center, affectionately known as 'The Chuck', was a 3,056-seat multi-purpose sports arena located in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, just outside Pittsburgh. Opened in 1985, it served as the home for the Robert Morris Colonials men's and women's basketball teams and the women's volleyball team until its closure in 2017. The arena hosted significant events, including the Northeast Conference men's basketball tournament on four occasions. Named after the university's president from 1967 to 1989, the Sewall Center was a key venue for local sports before being replaced by the larger UPMC Events Center. Its last event took place in September 2017, marking the end of an era for sports fans in the region.
