Luhrs Tower (Luhrs Building complex)

Luhrs Tower is an early Phoenix high-rise completed in 1929 as part of the Luhrs Building complex on Jefferson Street. At the time of construction it was among the city's tallest commercial buildings and represents downtown Phoenix's interwar commercial infrastructure. The tower and adjacent Luhrs Building are visible remnants of Phoenix's 1920s building boom and early skyscraper-era development.
