Geisel Library (UC San Diego) - campus ghost stories

Geisel Library is the main library of the University of California, San Diego, completed in 1970 and located on the La Jolla campus. Over decades students and staff have circulated urban legends and anecdotal reports of unexplained noises, apparitions, and other odd occurrences in and around the library building. These stories are documented as campus folklore in student publications and local reporting and remain debated rather than established fact.
