Eng Aun Tong Building

The Eng Aun Tong Building, also known as the Tiger Balm Medical Hall, is a historic Neoclassical structure located at the intersection of Neil Road and Craig Road in Tanjong Pagar, Singapore. Completed in the 1920s, it originally served as the Tiger Balm factory, established by the Aw brothers. The building is notable for its architectural features, including cornices, arches, and a distinctive hexagonal pavilion reminiscent of the Tiger Balm bottle. Over the years, it has transitioned from a medicinal factory to housing various businesses, including a French Business Centre and tech companies like PayPal, eBay, and Skype. Recently, it became home to a Shake Shack outlet, making it a unique blend of history and modern commerce, appealing to both tourists and researchers interested in Singapore's architectural and commercial evolution.
