Fox Theatre (Detroit)

The Fox Theatre opened in 1928 as an ornate movie palace and subsequently became a major venue for live music and touring shows in Detroit. Over many decades it has hosted concerts and performances by nationally and internationally known artists, playing a continuous role in the city's live-music scene. The theater underwent historic restoration in the late 20th century and remains one of Detroit's largest-capacity performance venues.
