Sweeney, Coombs, and Fredericks Building

The Sweeney, Coombs, and Fredericks Building is a historic late Victorian commercial structure located at 301 Main Street in Downtown Houston, Texas. Designed by George E. Dickey in 1889, it features a distinctive 3-story corner turret and Eastlake decorative elements, making it one of the few remaining Victorian-style buildings in the city. Designated as a 'City of Houston Landmark' in 2009 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building is part of the Main Street/Market Square Historic District. Originally home to a jewelry firm, it has undergone renovations while preserving its historic charm, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
