Taborian Hall

Taborian Hall, originally known as Taborian Temple, is a historic building in Little Rock, Arkansas, constructed in 1916 by the Knights and Daughters of Tabor. It served as a vibrant hub for African-American commerce and culture, hosting numerous black-owned businesses and community events during the 1920s and 1930s. The building became a key stop on the Chitlin Circuit, attracting legendary performers like Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald. Throughout its history, Taborian Hall has undergone various ownership changes and renovations, including a significant restoration effort in the 1990s. Today, it stands as a testament to the rich cultural heritage of the African-American community in Little Rock and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
