Green Monster seats added to Fenway Park in 2003

Fenway Park’s left-field wall, known as the Green Monster, measures 37.2 feet in height and dates to the park’s opening in 1912. In 2003 the Red Sox added spectator seating atop the Green Monster, creating a distinct fan area that overlooks left field. The installation is part of Fenway’s modern-era renovations while preserving the historical wall.
