The Mirage Volcano

The Mirage volcano debuted with The Mirage resort's opening in 1989 and has presented free outdoor nightly eruption shows featuring fire, water effects, and synchronized music. Positioned on the Strip in front of the resort, the volcano was part of The Mirage's design to create a dramatic roadside spectacle and has remained a long-running exterior attraction.
