Morrisville Public Library

Morrisville Public Library, located in Madison County, New York, is a historic building dating back to around 1850. This picturesque cottage features Gothic Revival-style details and became a library in December 1903, initially housing 760 volumes. The library was a gift from Susanna Phelps Gage, who transformed her family home into a community resource following the death of her parents. It was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers.
