Vestindisk Pakhus

Vestindisk Pakhus, or the West India Warehouse, is a historic 18th-century building in Copenhagen, Denmark, situated between Amalienborg Palace and Langelinie. Originally constructed for the Danish West India Company, it now houses the Royal Cast Collection, featuring over 2,000 plaster casts of global sculptures, and costumes from the Royal Danish Theatre. Notably, the King's Room on the eighth floor is adorned with guava-themed wallpaper and original chairs designed by architect Caspar Frederik Harsdorff. Visitors can enjoy free admission on Tuesdays and Sundays, making it a must-see for tourists and researchers alike.
