This three-story wood-frame structure features a low-pitch hip roof, clapboard siding, and a granite foundation. Its elegant interior includes a central spiral staircase and a unique carved niche for a tall clock. Originally constructed by merchant John Parsons, the mansion has a rich history tied to the prominent Bourne family and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture and local history.
