Hole in the Rock (Papago Park)

Hole in the Rock is a natural sandstone formation in Papago Park shaped by wind and water erosion that features a distinctive hole near its summit. A short paved path and steps lead visitors to the top, which offers panoramic views over the Phoenix and Tempe valleys. The site is adjacent to the Desert Botanical Garden and is a popular but comparatively small and secluded viewpoint within the city park.
