56–60 Low Petergate

56–60 Low Petergate is a historic terrace of five houses in York, England, built around 1500. Originally constructed for John Stockdale, the building features timber framing and a jettied front. It was redivided into three properties in the 1630s, with later 19th-century brick facades and shopfronts. Inside, visitors can find preserved 17th-century fixtures, including a staircase and plaster overmantel with the Stuart coat of arms, as well as 18th-century panelling in various rooms. This Grade II* listed building is a fascinating glimpse into York's architectural history.
