Thomas Gamble Building

The Thomas Gamble Building, a historic structure in Savannah, Georgia, was constructed in 1877 to replace the original Eugene Kelly Stores that burned down. Located in the city's Historic District, it features a stucco façade and has housed several prominent businesses over the years, including the John Flannery Co. and Purse Printing & Paper Co. After changing ownership multiple times, it was sold to the City of Savannah in 1943 and renamed in honor of Thomas Gamble, the city's mayor during the 1930s.
