Office of the Police Chief

The Office of the Police Chief, built in 1821, is a historically significant building located on 22 Leontjevskaya Street in Pushkin, Saint Petersburg. Designed in the classical architectural style by V. I. Geste and later modified by Vasily Petrovich Stasov, this two-story structure features rustic lower floors and elegantly adorned windows. It was originally the residence of the police chief and housed notable figures, including NI Tsylov, a prominent atlas compiler. Post-October Revolution, it served various governmental functions and currently houses the regional military commissariat. The building is part of the Tsarskoye Selo Police complex, adding to its cultural heritage and historical importance, making it an intriguing site for tourists and researchers alike.
