Second-largest contiguous theater district in the U.S. (Houston Theater District)

Houston's Theater District in downtown is the second-largest contiguous theater district in the United States and contains nine major performing arts organizations. The district includes venues such as the Wortham Theater Center, home to the Houston Ballet and Houston Grand Opera. The district spans several blocks of downtown Houston and hosts hundreds of performances each year.
