Führerbau

The Führerbau, located at Arcisstrasse 12 in Maxvorstadt, Munich, is a historically significant building constructed between 1933 and 1937 during the Nazi era. Designed by architect Paul Ludwig Troost, it served as a key site for Adolf Hitler, notably hosting the signing of the 1938 Munich Agreement. Today, it houses the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, with its congress hall functioning as a concert venue. The building stands as a reminder of its complex history, having also been used by US occupation forces to store looted art after World War II.
