London Guarantee Building

The London Guarantee Building, completed in 1923 and located near the Loop in Chicago, is a historic skyscraper that now houses the LondonHouse Chicago Hotel. This neoclassical structure is part of the Michigan–Wacker Historic District and stands near other iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building and Tribune Tower. Originally designed for the London Guarantee & Accident Company, it features a top resembling the Choragic Monument of Lysicrates and has a rich history, including housing a famous jazz nightclub and radio studios. Designated a Chicago Landmark in 1996, the building underwent extensive renovations and reopened as a hotel in 2016, offering visitors a blend of historic charm and modern amenities.
