Börstorp

Börstorp is a historic manor house situated by Börstorpsviken, a bay of Vänern, Sweden's largest lake. With origins dating back to the 14th century, it became an official manor in 1625. The main stone structure, constructed by Conrad Falkenberg and completed in 1646, showcases architectural evolution as it was later remodeled in the neo-Gothic style during the 1850s by Carl Leuhusen, based on designs by architect Hjalmar Wijnblad. This blend of history and architecture makes Börstorp a fascinating site for tourists and researchers alike.
