Porter Building

The Porter Building, a historic landmark in Woodland, California, was designed by architect W.H. Weeks in 1913 and features a striking exterior of buff-colored Roman brick with an ornate cornice and arched entrance. Notable for its modern amenities at the time, including an electric elevator and steam heating, the building has played a significant role in the city's architectural history. Currently part of the Downtown Woodland Historic District, it is undergoing renovations to house a private community college while preserving its historical integrity.
