Ukrainian National Academy of Music

The Ukrainian National Academy of Music, located in Kyiv, is a prestigious music conservatory founded in 1913. Originally known as the Kyiv Conservatory, it has a rich history involving notable figures like Sergei Rachmaninoff and Alexander Glazunov. The academy offers a range of music education, including postgraduate programs. In 2025, it underwent a significant name change, removing the association with Russian composer Tchaikovsky due to ongoing cultural and political tensions. The academy's historic building, originally a hotel, was rebuilt after World War II and now features a concert hall.
