Orpheum Theatre (historic atmospheric theater)

The Orpheum Theatre in downtown Phoenix is a historic 1920s-era theater listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is an example of the atmospheric movie palace style popular in that era. After restoration it continues to operate as a live performing arts venue hosting concerts, touring shows, and community events. The building's decorative interiors and marquee remain defining features of Phoenix's historic theater district.
