Carolina Coach Garage and Shop

The Carolina Coach Garage and Shop, located in Raleigh, North Carolina, is a historic intercity bus garage built in 1926. This one-story rectangular building, measuring approximately 90 by 140 feet, showcases a unique stepped parapet with five levels and original terra cotta coping caps. It served as the maintenance facilities for the Carolina Coach Company until 1939 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009, making it a notable site for both tourists and researchers interested in transportation history and architectural heritage.
