U.S. National Arboretum - Bonsai museum and National Capitol Columns

The U.S. National Arboretum is a national public garden and research institution that includes the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum, exhibiting bonsai collections and related programming. The arboretum is also the site of the National Capitol Columns, an installation of original Corinthian columns that were once part of the U.S. Capitol’s East Portico. The grounds host rotating horticultural displays, exhibitions, and public educational events year-round.
