Ocean Wonders: Sharks! (New York Aquarium)

Ocean Wonders: Sharks! is a gallery and habitat installation at the New York Aquarium that opened in 2018 as a reimagining of the aquarium’s ocean-facing galleries on Coney Island. The installation includes a marine life gallery and a large open-ocean habitat designed to display multiple shark species and other large fish in settings intended to simulate ocean environments. The project was part of a multi-phase redevelopment of the aquarium’s exhibition spaces to increase habitat size and visitor engagement.
