Hallett Flats–Rawson & Co. Apartment Building

The Hallett Flats–Rawson & Co. Apartment Building, located at 1301–1307 Locust St. in Des Moines, Iowa, is a historic site featuring two architecturally significant buildings. The Hallett Flats, designed by George E. Hallett and completed in 1904, is a charming three-story structure, while the Rawson & Co. Apartment Building, a four-story design by Proudfoot, Bird and Rawson, was built in 1915. Together, they create a unique multiple-function complex that reflects the architectural style of the early Twentieth Century.
