Diego Rivera's Detroit Industry Murals at the DIA

Diego Rivera's Detroit Industry Murals, painted 1932–1933, are a series of 27 fresco panels installed in the Detroit Institute of Arts' Rivera Court. The murals depict industrial processes, workers, and machinery connected to Detroit's auto industry and are considered one of Rivera's most complete mural cycles and among the most significant mural ensembles in the United States. The murals remain on permanent display and were a central element in the DIA's collection since their installation.
