Elliot Mansion

The Elliot Mansion, now known as Elliot Hall, is a historic house located at 229 Main Street in Keene, New Hampshire. Built around 1810, it is a prime example of Federal period architecture and was once considered the finest house in town. The mansion features a symmetrical facade with elegant details, including a grand entrance with Ionic columns. Originally constructed by William Wyman, the house later became associated with the Elliot family and served as a hospital until 1973. Today, it is part of the Keene State College campus, housing various student support facilities, making it a notable site for both tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
