South Bond Building

The South Bond Building, located at 105 Bond Street in Toronto, Ontario, is a historic structure built in 1912. Originally the C.E. Goad Offices, it became the headquarters for Doubleday Canada in 1944 and was acquired by Ryerson University in 2006. After significant renovations that preserved its original facade, the building reopened in 2007 and became the first university building in Ontario to receive a LEED Gold rating for energy efficiency in 2009. It currently houses the School of Urban and Regional Planning and the Psychology Research & Training Centre, making it a hub for academic research and urban studies. Recognized for its historical significance, it was designated a municipal heritage property in 1974.
