Østergade 13, Copenhagen

Østergade 13 is a Historicist building complex located on the bustling shopping street Strøget in central Copenhagen. Originally two separate 18th-century buildings, it underwent significant renovations in 1856, resulting in its current four-winged structure surrounding a central courtyard. The western building dates back to before the Copenhagen Fire of 1728, while the eastern section was built before 1749. Visitors can admire the architectural details, including a striking lunette featuring a silhouette of people at the main entrance.
