By Seeker
The Chapin School, built in 1899 in Chicopee, Massachusetts, is a historic former school building showcasing Classical Revival architecture. Located at 40 Meadow Street, it features a unique triangular design and was originally constructed to accommodate the expected growth following the nearby Holyoke-Willimansett Bridge's completion. The school served the community until 1995 and has since been transformed into a residential complex for homeless veterans. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016, it stands as a significant example of early 20th-century city planning and architecture.
