Habib Bank Plaza

Habib Bank Plaza, also known as HBL Plaza, is an iconic skyscraper located on I. I. Chundrigar Road in Karachi, Pakistan. Once the tallest building in Asia during its construction from 1963 to 1968, it held the title of the tallest building in South Asia until 1972. Inaugurated in 1971 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Habib Bank Limited, the building has been a significant landmark in Karachi and continues to serve as the bank's head office. It is notable for hosting the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee's moon-sighting meetings and currently accommodates over 1,770 employees, making it a hub of activity in the city.
